Our technology team is looking for a new team member. You will work closely with the product owners in different areas like Digital Product and E-Commerce to shape the future of paid media at Tamedia. 

You will join a team working on a wide range of technologies. Our team intervenes in different areas of the company: we aim to drive innovation through simplification and automation.

Our tech stack: 

• Programming languages: Node.js with TypeScript, Java and Python
• Infrastructure/pipelines: AWS, Kubenetes, Terraform, GitHub actions, Argo
• Data: Kafka, DBT, Athena

As the newest addition to our team, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing (mostly backend) services (dynamic paywall, event processors, integration layers)
• Building POCs around data engineering (NLP solutions, data warehouse…)
• Assisting the data analysts with optimizing the models

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in software development (any language is fine, we will teach you how to use our stack
• Solid understanding of the software development practices (source control, ci/cd, containerization, unit testing)
• Interest in data engineering (SQL, Kafka, data modeling & optimization)
• Fluent in English
