To expand our JobCloud Belgrade Team at our TX Services site in Belgrade, we are looking for a smart, talented, and dedicated Backend Engineer. If you’re skilled and motivated, come join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge web solutions. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and implementing server-side logic, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and third-party services.

Job responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of our company’s backend services.

• Participation in the decision-making and planning processes.

• Collaboration with frontend developers, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide API endpoints, and deliver features that meet the overall team and project objectives.

• Challenging architecture, code and product managers.

The Wizard we're looking for:

• Has a passion for coding and loves tech in general.

• Is self-driven and easily takes responsibility.

• Has an opinion and is willing to share it.

• Is curious and eager to learn.

• Values team spirit and collaboration.

• Has experience with: PHP OOP (preferably PHP 8), relational and document-based databases, Elasticsearch, testing, CI (unit, integration), GIT.

• Experience with AWS services, Serverless (Typescript), and event-driven architecture is a big plus.

• Is fluent in English.
